Alexandra Klem
Speech-Language Pathologist
Alex was inspired to become a Speech Pathologist because it combined her goal to help people with her passion for language, communication, and how the brain works. After graduating from the Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience, Alex completed her Master of Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne.
During her professional placements as a student, Alex provided personalised therapy across the lifespan from infants to adults, focusing on each individual’s strengths to support their language development, voice, social wellbeing, and multimodal communication (including using Key Word Sign and AAC devices). Alex is enthusiastic and driven to support all people to access meaningful communication and thrive across social and educational settings.
Alex’s warm and bubbly nature support her in creating connections with families and delivering fun and engaging evidence-based therapy. Alex has completed the Basic Key Word Sign Workshop with Key Word Sign Australia, and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) registered with Speech Pathology Australia.
